24 Hour All Volunteer Nashville Design-A-Thon is Back!

It's official, we are organizing our second annual Design-A-Thon to benefit Safe Haven Family Shelter, a local Nashville non-profit.

If you don't recall, last year more than 30 volunteers gathered at CoLab Nashville to benefit a Nashville non-profit to help create a new brand, web presence, marketing collateral, and much more.  We received a lot of great feedback from the non-profit involved last year and all the volunteers, that we've decided to host a second annual design-a-thon at CoLab Nashville on August 6-7, 2011.

We are actively seeking local restaurants to donate food/caffeine to feed our hungry volunteers.  We are not asking for money, as our priority is to join Nashville professionals who otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity to work together, in a fun and creative environment and apply their skills to benefit a very deserving local non-profit.

We're also seeking more volunteers for our Copy, Graphic Design, Marketing and Web Dev (Wordpress platform) teams to complete our 2011 design-a-thon list of volunteers. Professional experience in these fields is required and the number of volunteers on each team are limited, if interested please email JessicaRMurray at gmail dot com.  If you or colleagues of yours would be interested in participating, our participants last year walked away with new friendships, a once in a lifetime experience, business opportunities and the fulfillment of helping a Nashville charity.

Look forward to sharing another compelling story of the families helped by Safe Haven, they are a great organization and we're very much looking forward to the outcome of our second annual Design-a-Thon!

**As of Wednesday, July 13th, the Design-A-Thon event is no longer recruiting volunteers for our Copy, Marketing and Design teams but we are still seeking two professional Wordpress developers.**
